【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversquenchedandtemperedvacuum-treatedcarbonandalloysteelforgingsforpressurevesselssuchasthoseusedinreactorsystems.Specifically,itcoversforgingsforvesselclosures,shells,flanges,tubesheets,rings,heads,andsimilarparts.1.2Allgradesareconsideredweldableunderproperconditions.Weldingtechniqueisoffundamentalimportance,anditispresupposedthatweldingprocedureandinspectionwillbeinaccordancewithapprovedmethodsforthegradeofmaterialused.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation,thematerialshallbefurnishedtotheinch-poundunits.Note18212;Grades1and1Aarecomposedofdifferentchemistriesbuthavethesamemechanicalrequirements.
