【摘要】:ThisTechnicalSpecificationdescribesamethodfordeterminingthewet-roadskidresistanceofasurfacebymeasuringtheLFCD.Themethodprovidesameasureofthewet-roadskidresistancepropertiesofaboundsurfacebymeasurementofthelongitudinalfrictioncoefficientatafixedslipratioof86%andatacontrolledspeed.Themethodhasbeendevelopedforuseonroads,butisalsoapplicabletootherpavedareassuchasairports.ThisTechnicalSpecificationcoversthefollowingproprietarydevices:RWSNLskidresistancetrailerdevice,whichhasbeendevelopedbytheRijkswaterstaatintheNetherlands.ThedeviceusesastandardPIARCsmoothtesttyrebeingdraggedoverapre-wettedpavementundercontrolledspeedconditionswhileitsrunningdirectionisparalleltothedirectionofmotionandperpendiculartothepavement.SeveralRWSskidresistancetrailerdeviceshavebeenmanufacturedunderlicenseandoperateincombinationwithvariabletowingvehicles.
