【摘要】:TheInternationalSystemofUnitsistheformofthemetricsystemthatisgenerallyinusearoundtheworld.Thisdocumentgivesguidancefortheuseofthissystem.ItistheprimaryAmericanNationalStandardforconformitytotheInternationalSystemofUnits(ortheSI,asitisabbreviatedfromitsnameinFrench,LeSystèmeInternationald’Unités).Anymeasurablequantitycanberepresentedinthissystemwiththeaidofjustseven“base”units,useddirectlyforthequantitieslength,mass,time,electriccurrent,temperature,amountofsubstance,andluminousintensity,orbycombinations(called“derived”units)oftheseseven.Forexample,theunitofspeedcanbeexpressedbytheunitoflengthdividedbytheunitoftime.TheSIisacompleteandcoherentsystem.Thisstandardshowsfirstthetwoclassesofunits(baseandderived)thatmakeuptheSI,togetherwiththesymbolsbywhichtheyareknown.Prefixesthatallowtheformationofdecimalmultiplesandsubmultiplesareexplained.ThencomenotesontheproperuseoftheSIunitsandsymbolsinmanyapplications.InthefirstAnnexarelistsofmanyunitsfromnon-SIsystemswiththeappropriateSIunitsthatshouldbesubstitutedandnumericalconversionfactors.Otherannexesincluderulesforconversionandrounding,adiscussionoftheadvantagesofSIunitswithdefinitionswhereappropriate,ahistoryofthedevelopmentofthesystem,andabibliographyofsourcedocuments.
